TestimonialsWonderful show, enjoyed everything, you all are very nice...
Outstanding show this past weekend. I was the 1950 Buick that stuck out like a sore thumb I wanted to take a moment to thank you for being accommodating Everyone on your staff was very nice, talkative, and eager to learn about my car. I will be returning next year along with the whole car club The Vendettas, and maybe some other clubs around this area! Great show and once again, Thanks! Maybe we (The Vendettas) can create and give out an award too! See ya next year.
I have a photo album of 77 pictures on my facebook page from the outdoor car show in Raleigh on Staurday 8-21-10. The cars were so great I spent about three hours walking up and down Fayetteville Street.
Hello. Just wanted to drop a line and tell you what a pleasure it was attending Classics at the Capital on Saturday and want to convey a heartfelt THANK-YOU to Greg Cox and his wife for going 'above and beyond' in taking care of me and treating me like Royalty! I am a Disabled Veteran who has difficulty walking long distances. This was the cause of some trepidation in attending the event knowing how far I would be walking. Greg said if I would attend he would make sure I was parked next to the convention center. When I arrived Saturday morning, Greg knew me before I knew him and escorted me to, what I feel was, the best seat in the house! Exactly like he promised. Hell, he even brought me a water!! This made a world of difference for me giving me access to the Convention Center as well as the Music venue (that without Greg's help I would have NEVER been able to do). Congratulations of what appears to be a huge success and for allowing me to attend the event which would have not been possible without the help of Greg and his wife.
I would like to say that the Classics At The Capital Car Show was very good. It would have been nice to see more cars but this was the first show and will probably take 3 - 4 years to catch on.
Again, for the first one I thought it was good........... Hope to see more shows like this in Raleigh.
Had a great time at the show, nice job. Please add my email to your mailing list so I remember to bring my 65 Lincoln Continental to the show next year too. WOW!! What a great 1st time car show. It was evident
that a lot of planning and hard work had gone in to the event. The "yellow
shirts" were very friendly and made us feel welcome. Not trophy people but
the glass block trophies were very unique. Did not win one but there is
always next year.
We are members of Fuquay Cruisers car club. Our meeting is tonight and I
will spread the word they all missed a good one. See you in 2011 |
